Must Have Educational Background Master’s\PhDs in Statistics or Applied Statistics Core Areas of Expertise (Statistics) 5 to 7 years’ experience in following: 1. Regression Techniques - GLM, Curve fitting and Model fitments, Exponential Family Models 2. Time Series and multivariate statistics 3. Bayesian Techniques and Markov Chain Monte Carlo Techniques of sampling 4. Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning Techniques 5. Hands on in Python and R is a must, C++ would be an advantage. 6. Good at and hands on numerical analysis and optimization methods 7. Should know the statistical techniques to the depth so that they can be implemented without using any library or package from first principles. 8. Self-motivated Individual contributor and team player Domain Expertise Candidates are required to have prior Statistical Modeling & implementation expertise in the Domain of Educational Measurement and Evaluation. Expected areas of modeling expertise are the following: 1. IRT (Item Response Theory) Modeling - 1PL, 2PL, 3PL, General Partial Credit Model 2. Rasch Model and its various forms 3. Familiarity of IRT packages in R: catR, mstR, MIRT. Python: catsim, girth , Java: Jmetrik 4. In-depth knowledge about item calibration, content balancing, test design and test assembly algorithms 5. Ability of develop Statistical Models using C++ / Java will be given preference

Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Statistical Model development for end to end implementation of Computerized Adaptive Testing module 2. Running trial test administration data through various models to calculate various parameter like goodness of fit, dimensionality, DIF, reliability and validity 3. Should be able to work with psychometricians to device the new algorithms, processes of Test Assembly, Administration and Evaluation as per customer’s needs. 4. Working with pre-sales team in responding to prospects and customers and understanding their specific requirement of CAT\MST 5. Support Pre-sales and Delivery teams in defend the validity of our IRT models with clients 6. Contribute to continuous research efforts in development of new algorithms relevant to various Linear and Computer Adaptive testing (both for Summative & Formative tests) including use of AI/ML techniques
