The primary responsibility will be to research, test, and enhance neural networks that classify terrain types and estimate the height of classified objects based on satellite images. The training data will be provided by our technical team. About the Role The primary responsibility will be to research, test, and enhance neural networks that classify terrain types and estimate the height of classified objects based on satellite images.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and optimize neural network architectures for satellite image analysis.
• Conduct experiments to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with our technical team to ensure the quality and relevance of the training data.
• Evaluate different models and approaches for terrain classification and object height estimation.
• Continuously iterate and improve models based on performance metrics and project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree Bachelor in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Image Processing). A PhD in these areas is preferred, but not required.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in developing and fine-tuning neural networks for image classification tasks.
• Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision (must have).
• Proficiency in Python, Keras, Matplotlib, Pandas.
• Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch and other relevant machine learning frameworks is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Nice to have experience with QGIS, GDAL, Rasterio and Transformer Neural Network.
• Nice to have experience with satellite image analysis, geospatial data analysis or remote sensing technologies.
• Nice to have knowledge of terrain classification techniques and object detection in geospatial imagery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
