Role Responsibilities
- Analyse large, complex data sets using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimise processes, leveraging techniques such as regression analysis, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate models, and iterate based on feedback and results to improve model accuracy and performance
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements, define success criteria, and deliver actionable insights and solutions
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through visualisations, presentations, and storytelling, and provide recommendations for business decisions and strategy
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and share knowledge and insights with the team

Special Notes
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or related roles, with expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualisation
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data science libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques, and experience with SQL and relational databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets and communicate findings effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and levels
