Data Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop OCR (Optical Character Recognition) models using Python libraries such as Tesseract-OCR.
• Extract relevant information from scanned documents, images, or videos using computer vision techniques.
• Develop machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of extracted data and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OCR solutions into existing systems.

Job Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Science or related field with expertise in OCR, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
• Experience working with large language models like transformers for text classification tasks.
• Knowledge of image processing techniques including feature extraction, filtering, thresholding etc.
