About the Role Our client is looking for a skilled

Data Scientist with

3–5 years of experience in analyzing complex datasets, building predictive models, and deriving actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data storytelling, along with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.

Note : Candidates from IIT's are preferred Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights
• Build and deploy predictive and statistical models for business applications
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Apply machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings
• Conduct A/B testing and statistical experiments
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy
• Stay up to date with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data science

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology or related field from IIT
• 3–5 years of experience in data science or analytics roles
• Strong programming skills in

Python (mandatory) or

R

• Experience with ML libraries such as

Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

• Strong understanding of:
• Statistics and probability
• Machine learning algorithms
• Data modeling techniques
• Experience with data manipulation tools like

Pandas, NumPy

• Proficiency in

SQL for data querying and analysis

• Experience with data visualization tools like

Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies like

Apache Spark or Hadoop

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like

AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Knowledge of

MLOps practices and tools

• Experience with NLP, time series analysis, or recommendation systems
• Exposure to

Generative AI or LLM-based analytics (nice to have)

• Understanding of

CI/CD pipelines for data workflows Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and business acumen
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
