Role & responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Data Processing: Collect, clean, validate, mine, and preprocess large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Modeling & ML: Build, test, and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical frameworks.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams to align data strategies with business goals.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards, visual reports, and presentations to translate technical results for non-technical leaders. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Programming: Proficiency in Python or R, plus SQL for database querying.
- Mathematics & Statistics: Strong foundation in applied math, probability, statistical analysis, and pattern recognition.
- Machine Learning & Tools: Experience with libraries/frameworks (such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI).
- Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related STEM fiel
