This internship is built around practical data science work: cleaning datasets with Python, running statistical analysis, building simple predictive models and presenting findings in clear charts and short reports.

This role suits candidates who want to build a career in data science, data analytics, predictive modelling or applied statistics.

Role Overview

As a Data Science Intern, you will work on structured analysis assignments under the guidance of experienced team members. You will learn how professionals explore a dataset, choose the right statistical method, check whether a model holds up and communicate results to people who are not technical.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare datasets using Python, Pandas and NumPy

- Run exploratory data analysis to find patterns, outliers and relationships

- Apply statistical methods such as correlation, hypothesis testing and regression

- Build simple predictive models and check how well they perform

- Create clear charts using Matplotlib, Seaborn or Power BI

- Write short findings that non-technical readers can understand

- Use Git and GitHub for version control

- Document notebooks and methods so others can repeat your work

Who Can Apply

- Freshers, entry-level candidates, or students pursuing or completing B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (Statistics, Maths, CS, IT), MCA, M.Sc, MBA (Analytics) or related degrees

- Self-taught learners who can show their skills through Kaggle notebooks, GitHub projects or certificates

- Candidates interested in data, statistics and modelling

- Candidates available to work full-time for the internship period

Required Skills

- Good working knowledge of Python, especially Pandas and NumPy

- Understanding of basic statistics (mean, variance, distributions, probability)

- Familiarity with Matplotlib, Seaborn or a similar visualisation library

- Ability to explain results clearly in writing

- Comfort with open-ended problems and checking whether an idea holds up

- A laptop and a stable internet connection for remote work
