Data & Product Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Vola Finance is a Bangalore-based fintech team of about 45 people building financial products for US consumers. We offer cash advances, credit-building tools, Experian credit score access and rent reporting. Our data team sits at the centre of underwriting, growth and product decisions.

What you'll do

Growth and product analytics

• Analyse product and conversion funnels to find drop-offs and opportunities
• Design and run A/B tests, and turn results into clear recommendations
• Build customer segments to drive targeted acquisition, engagement and retention strategies
• Define and track growth KPIs such as LTV, CAC and churn rate

Data quality and reporting

• Support product integrations, data collection and data sanity checks
• Monitor changes to product logic and their impact on outcomes
• Build reports and dashboards for the Product and Engineering teams
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather data and solve problems with it

Credit risk and collections

• Validate and monitor credit scorecards
• Track key risk metrics and produce regular risk reports
• Analyse collections performance and improve recovery efficiency

What you'll need

• 46 years in data analytics, ideally in fintech or lending
• Hands-on experience developing credit risk strategy for retail loan portfolios (mandatory)
• Strong SQL and Python
• Solid statistical analysis and A/B testing skills
• Advanced Excel
• Experience with at least one BI tool: Redash, Grafana, Tableau or Power BI
• Working knowledge of Git-based version control (GitHub or Bitbucket)
