Data Platform Engineer

As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless connectivity and consistency across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to coordinating efforts that enhance the platform's functionality and reliability, contributing to the foundation that supports data-driven decision-making within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data platform integration and performance.
• Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Kinaxis.
• Experience with data integration and system interoperability concepts.
• Familiarity with data modelling and architecture principles.
• Ability to work with various data platform components and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

• This position is based at our Chennai office.
