Summary: As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all relevant components are effectively incorporated. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration between various systems and data models. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals, fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment that supports business needs and innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in data platform processes and workflows.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment of data platform strategies with broader organizational objectives.
Senior Power BI Developer :
Strong ETL understanding and implementation experience Experience with Git/version control Build and optimize models on large datasets Advanced DAX and performance tuning Power Query / M transformations Data modeling (star schema, relationships, many-to-many) SQL expertise in Databricks (CTEs, window functions, optimization) Familiarity with Databricks ecosystem (Delta Tables, Notebooks, Unity Catalog) Data visualization best practices and report UX Storytelling with data and advanced analytics understanding
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Advanced Data Visualization Techniques.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data visualization solutions.
- Ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable visual insights.
- Experience working with diverse data sources and integrating them into unified visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with best practices in data governance and security as they relate to visualization tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Advanced Data Visualization Techniques.
- This position is based at our PDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
