We are seeking a skilled DBT Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT Data Warehouse development SQL programming data transformation and cloud data engineering The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing optimizing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytical data solutions on the Snowflake platform The role involves working closely with Data Engineers Architects Business Analysts and stakeholders to deliver high quality data solutions Based on recent internal Snowflake requirements strong experience in Snowflake features ELT processes data modeling and performance tuning is expected

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain Snowflake based data warehouse solutionsMigration of legacy Spark Scala Hive and Cloudera based data pipelines to a modern Snowflake DBT data platformDBT Pipeline building for Spark scala Python migration projectDevelop and optimize SQL queries views tables stored procedures and tasksBuild scalable ELTETL pipelines using DBT Snowflake native featuresImplement and manage Snowpipe Streams Tasks and Time Travel capabilitiesDesign and maintain schema objects including databases schemas tables views and stagesPerform query tuning and performance optimizationDevelop reusable data transformation frameworks and data modelsIntegrate Snowflake with cloud storage platforms such as AWS S3 Azure Blob Storage and GCPCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutionsMonitor warehouse utilization performance and cost optimizationImplement data governance security RBAC masking policies and compliance controlsTroubleshoot production issues and resolve data quality concerns
