Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Modelling professional with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise data management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements.
• Create and maintain data models for relational, dimensional, and analytical data platforms.
• Develop ER diagrams, entity relationships, data dictionaries, and metadata documentation.
• Define data structures, schemas, relationships, keys, constraints, and data standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data models.
• Apply dimensional modelling techniques, including Star and Snowflake schemas, where applicable.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, quality, scalability, and performance.
• Support database design, data integration, data warehousing, and reporting initiatives.
• Review existing data models and recommend improvements to meet evolving business needs.
• Follow data governance, data standards, and best practices for enterprise data management.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Expertise in relational data modelling, normalization, and dimensional modelling.
• Good knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with ER diagrams, data mapping, schema design, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, facts, dimensions, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs).
• Experience with data modelling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, SAP PowerDesigner, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and master data management concepts.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional project delivery.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have 8–12 years of relevant experience in data modelling, database design, or enterprise data architecture, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient data models.
