About this role
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Develop scalable enterprise data warehouse and dimensional models.
- Design Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.
- Define appropriate grain, keys, relationships, hierarchies, and business rules.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and optimized data models.
- Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, BI Developers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency of business definitions and data structures across analytics and reporting platforms.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, lineage, and modeling documentation.
- Apply appropriate normalization and denormalization strategies.
- Design models for high-volume analytical workloads with appropriate partitioning, clustering, and performance optimization.
- Support implementation of physical data models on GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Ensure data quality, governance, integrity, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Perform impact analysis for model changes and evolving business requirements.
- Support data integration and source-to-target mapping activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve data architecture, modeling standards, and performance.
