The ideal Databricks Data Modeler should possess strong expertise in conceptual logical and physical data modeling along with handson experience in Databricks Lakehouse architecture SQL PySpark data integration data governance and data quality management The role requires the ability to design scalable enterprise data models define business entities dimensions KPIs and sourcetotarget mappings while ensuring consistency governance and a single source of truth across data assets In addition to technical expertise the candidate should demonstrate strong analytical thinking stakeholder management communication and collaboration skills to effectively translate business requirements into robust data models that support reporting analytics and AIdriven decisionmaking
