Summary:

As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and scalable, supporting both current operations and future growth. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation by facilitating clear communication and thorough analysis throughout the data modeling process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and refinement of data models to meet evolving business requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of data modeling principles and practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
• Ability to design scalable and efficient data architectures that support complex business processes.
• Experience in analyzing and translating business requirements into technical data models.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles to ensure reliable data assets.
