Data Modeler

Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with 5 9 years of expertise in designing and maintaining enterprise data models to support analytics reporting and operational systems
• The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of data modeling database design data warehousing and data governance practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models based on business requirements
• Develop scalable and efficient database structures for transactional and analytical systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders data architects and engineering teams to define data requirements and solutions
• Create and maintain data dictionaries metadata and data lineage documentation
• Design dimensional models such as Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for data warehousing solutions
• Ensure data quality consistency integrity and adherence to enterprise data standards
• Optimize data models and database designs for performance and scalability
• Support data governance initiatives and enforce data modeling best practices

Technical Requirements:

• 5 9 years of hands on experience in Data Modeling Database Design or Data Architecture
• Strong expertise in
• Conceptual Logical and Physical Data Modeling
• ER Modeling and Relational Database Design
• Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling
• Data Governance and Metadata Management
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL Snowflake or Azure SQL
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin ER Studio PowerDesigner or equivalent
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP
• Strong analytical problem solving and stakeholder management skills

Additional Responsibilities:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
