Job Summary We are currently seeking a Data Modular to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Responsibilities - Analyze business requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational systems.
- Design and maintain scalable data models, including dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas), normalized databases, and data warehouse structures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and development teams to define data entities, relationships, business rules, and data standards.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, lineage documentation, and data mapping specifications.
- Ensure data models align with data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Optimize database designs to improve query performance, data quality, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise platforms.
- Support ETL/ELT development teams by providing source-to-target mappings and guidance on data integration requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and profiling activities to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization.
- Work with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies to design and govern enterprise data assets.
- Review and enhance existing data models, recommend best practices, and support strategic initiatives involving master data, analytics, AI, and business intelligence solutions.
