Educational RequirementsBachelor of EngineeringService Line Data Analytics UnitResponsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements.
- Develop scalable and efficient database structures for transactional and analytical systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to define data requirements and solutions.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
- Design dimensional models such as Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for data warehousing solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and adherence to enterprise data standards.
- Optimize data models and database designs for performance and scalability.
- Support data governance initiatives and enforce data modeling best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-9 years of hands-on experience in Data Modeling, Database Design, or Data Architecture.
- Strong expertise in:
- Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
- ER Modeling and Relational Database Design
- Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling
- Data Governance and Metadata Management
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Azure SQL.
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or equivalent.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
