Job Summary
Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Management Senior Manager
Responsibilities - Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity focused on defining data quality requirements and delivering on data integrity initiatives
- Manage the research, insights, and data quality strategies for a functional area with impact across the business
- Ensure the design and implementation of initiatives to achieve goals within assigned line of business or businesses
- Determine appropriate strategy and actions of team regarding the development of audits and controls structured around business processes, data quality target state, standards for metadata content and documentation
- 7+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, or Project Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for line of business data quality target state
- Define measurement standards
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures ensuring adherence to a data integrity governance framework
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to achieve consistent agreement and application of definitions, measurements, and interpretation
- Serve as liaison to leadership to ensure data integrity strategy is aligned with business strategy
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and risk functions.
- 7+years of proven team management role in terms on talent lifecycle management and Project Management
- Hands on experience on tools like SQL, SAS, and other similar tools
- Hands on experience in relational databases Teradata, Oracle, or similar databases
- Proven experience in Data Modeling, Data Quality and Data Profiling
- Knowledge and understanding of big data (Hadoop) environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Data Models, ERD, Dimensional Models and Metadata
- Proven experience leading analytics teams and delivering enterprise-scale analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of quantitative modeling, model governance, validation, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI or machine learning solutions from ideation through implementation.
- Identifies and recommends internal and external data sources, compiles/mines data from multiple, cross business sources; recommends and consults in the development of complex analysis designs
- Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. Data involved may be very large, structured/ unstructured, and collated from multiple sources.
