Role & responsibilities

Take ownership of the complete data management and operations process. • Understand the complete data lifecycle, including data capture, entry, processing, validation, quality checks, consolidation, reporting, and analysis. • Ensure data processes are accurate, efficient, standardized, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. • Lead the overall operations team and ensure effective execution through proper team structure and delegation. • Establish and maintain SOPs, workflows, controls, KPIs, and performance standards. • Monitor quality, productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, cost, and service levels. • Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, recurring issues, and process risks and drive timely resolution. • Ensure strong process discipline and consistency across the function.

looking for a strong, experienced, and highly accountable Manager Data Management to take ownership of the entire data management and operations function. The ideal candidate should understand data from scratchfrom data capture and entry through data processing, validation, quality control, analysis, reporting, and final business usage. The candidate should have a strong practical understanding of how data flows through an organization and how people, processes, systems, and vendors work together to deliver accurate and reliable data. This role requires someone who can effectively manage the overall operations team, processes, quality, productivity, performance, escalations, stakeholders, and outsourced vendors. The candidate must be firm, decisive, innovative, solution-oriented, and implementation focused, with the ability to work under pressure and take complete ownership of outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

5–7 years of relevant experience in data management, data operations, data processing, MIS, operations management, or a related field. • Strong understanding of data from scratch, including data capture, entry, processing, validation, quality, reporting, and analysis. • Strong practical understanding of how data-management operations work end-to-end. • Proven experience managing operations teams and outsourced/third-party vendors. • Strong people-management and leadership capabilities. • Experience handling pressure, escalations, disputes, conflicts, and performance-related issues. • Strong understanding of process management, quality management, and operational controls. • Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and successfully implement improvements. • Strong innovation and implementation mindset. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills. • Strong decision-making ability and ownership mentality. • Firm, mature, and professional leadership style. • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and data-management tools. • Exposure to SQL, BI tools, dashboards, automation, or analytics platforms would be an advantage.
