Data Integration Developer

W2 Only. Role Summary We are looking for 3 contingent workers who can understand and write database queries, have average coding proficiency, and are familiar with APIs. These individuals will support developing data integrations, writing and validating SQL queries, consuming GraphQL APIs, and contributing to a full-stack TypeScript/React dashboard that aggregates health metrics from multiple internal data sources.

Required Skills

• SQL (Read + Write) — Ability to understand, write, and troubleshoot database queries. Must be comfortable reading existing queries with JOINs, GROUP BYs, WHERE filters, and aggregate functions. Writing new queries from requirements.
• API Familiarity — Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs. Understanding of request/response patterns, authentication, error handling, and how to read API documentation to build integrations.
• Full-Stack Web Development (Basic) — Comfort working in a TypeScript/React codebase. Ability to read, modify, and extend existing components and data-fetching hooks. No senior-level architecture skills required — following established patterns is sufficient.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

• Experience with GraphQL specifically (queries, mutations, schema navigation)
• Familiarity with Next.js or similar React frameworks
• Exposure to data validation / QA practices (comparing query results across systems)
• Basic understanding of data pipelines or ETL concepts
• Experience with Presto/Hive or similar analytical SQL engines

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries pulling data from multiple internal data sources (ticket systems, metrics platforms, server health databases)
• Integrate GraphQL API endpoints into the dashboard application
• Validate that query outputs match source-of-truth systems — document discrepancies and fix filter logic
• Extend existing React/TypeScript components to surface new data points
• Document data source filters, refresh cadences, and known limitations
• Support cross-source data reconciliation (understanding why numbers from different systems may not match exactly) The estimated pay range for this position is USD 37.00/Hr - USD $42.00/Hr.
