Data Engineer

About Position: We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing workflows across AWS-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Engineering, Python/PySpark, AWS Glue, and modern cloud data architectures. This role involves building ingestion frameworks, ETL/ELT pipelines, data lake solutions, and analytics platforms that enable reliable, scalable, and high-performance data processing.

• Experience: 3 to 10 Years
• Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do:
• Build ingestion pipelines using AppFlow, MSK, DMS, SFTP
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue & EMR
• Manage S3 data lake (RAW, Curated, Analytics zones),
• Optimize data processing and query performance (Athena, Redshift)
• Support orchestration via Step Functions and EventBridge
• DBT Core/Cloud. Also, Orchestration to be implemented using DBT.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong understanding and experience in Redshift including SCD, Schema evolution and performance aspects
• Understanding and exposure to Glue, Lambda and Step functions
• 4 to 8 years in data engineering
• Strong Python/PySpark, SQL
• Experience with AWS Glue, S3, EMR, Redshift
• Knowledge of batch & streaming pipelines
