Job Title: Senior Data Management Consultant – Snowflake & dbt

Location: Hyderabad Experience: 5–10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time and Contract

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Data Management Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in Snowflake and dbt to design and deliver scalable cloud data solutions for our clients. This is a client-facing analytics engineering role — you'll lead discovery sessions, architect Snowflake-based solutions, and build production-grade ELT pipelines end to end.

What You'll Do

Translate complex business and data integration requirements into well-structured analytics solutions

Lead client discovery sessions, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication

Design scalable, secure Snowflake architectures — data modeling, performance tuning, RBAC, and secure data sharing

Build and maintain ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt

Develop analytics-ready, multi-layer data models for reporting and BI

Apply dbt best practices: modular modeling, testing, documentation, CI/CD

Troubleshoot data quality, integration, and performance issues

Implement CI/CD workflows via GitHub/GitLab

Support end-to-end data migration projects to Snowflake

Manage workflow orchestration and pipeline monitoring

Work in cross-functional agile teams; explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Must-Have Skills

5–10 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data management

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake — data modeling, performance tuning, security

Hands-on dbt expertise — model development, testing, documentation

Advanced SQL — complex transformations, multi-layer queries, analytical patterns

Proven ELT pipeline development on a modern cloud data platform

Solid grasp of data warehousing, analytics engineering, and semantic modeling

CI/CD and version control experience (GitHub/GitLab)

Strong consulting/client-facing skills — stakeholder management, solution ownership

Experience in agile, client-facing, or consulting environments

Good to Have

Cloud data migration project experience

Exposure to orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar)

Understanding of data governance and security best practices
