Data Engineer

About Position: We are looking for an experienced Teradata Engineer to design, develop, and manage data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Teradata, data engineering practices, and CI/CD processes, and should be comfortable working in an enterprise data environment.

• Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using Teradata.
• Build and optimise ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and manage complex Teradata queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting layers.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data solutions (using tools like Azure DevOps, Git, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong experience in Teradata development and data engineering
• Expertise in SQL (advanced queries, optimisation, performance tuning)
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
• Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump)

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modelling)
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ADF, etc.)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Scripting languages like Python (good to have)
• Experience with version control tools (Git)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience working in large‑scale data environments
