Snowflake Cortex Engineer

Duration: 12 months What you’ll do: We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Cortex / GenAI Data Engineer to support the delivery of AI-enabled analytics solutions on Snowflake. You’ll work hands-on exposure to Snowflake Cortex, LLM-driven analytics, and modern cloud data platforms. You will work closely with data engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality AI solutions are delivered within an enterprise environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Hands-on experience in Snowflake Cortex and GenAI solution development
• Expertise in implementing text-to-SQL, semantic search, and RAG-based use cases
• Experience building and supporting LLM-powered analytics using Snowflake-native tools and Python frameworks
• Strong Snowflake data engineering skills, including data modeling and pipeline development
• Ability to optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency for AI-enabled workloads
• Good understanding of data governance, security, and access control practices in regulated environments
• Experience working with cloud-based enterprise data platforms and AI-driven analytics solutions
• Experience with documentation, testing, and continuous improvement practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic retrieval architectures
• Exposure to Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or other enterprise LLM platforms
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Experience with Snowpark, Streamlit, or Snowflake Native Apps
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices for data platforms
• Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, or financial services
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and lineage tools
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Relevant certifications in Snowflake, cloud platforms, or AI/ML technologies
