Data Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled

Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, cloud platforms, SQL, Python, and big data technologies to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Experience: 2 to 6 Years Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Develop robust data integration solutions from multiple data sources.
• Ensure high data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Work with structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams to understand data requirements.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and error handling.
• Automate data workflows using orchestration tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Follow best practices for coding, documentation, and version control.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SQL and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Scala.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or other big data technologies.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks.
• Knowledge of Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Understanding of REST APIs and data integration.
