Data Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataform, and other GCP services.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  
• Develop complex SQL queries to extract insights from massive datasets stored in BigQuery.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to data processing, storage, and retrieval on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
• Ensure high availability and scalability of all systems by implementing monitoring tools and logging best practices.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-10 years of experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in BigQuery, Dataform, GCP.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts such as storage classes, bucket policies, etc.
  
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for querying large datasets.
  
• Experience working with streaming data sources like Pub/Sub or Cloud Storage events.
