About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong focus on Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to join our dynamic team remotely from India. The ideal candidate will possess 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data solutions. This role requires a professional who excels in building scalable data integration pipelines, optimizing ETL/ELT workflows, and working with modern cloud data platforms such as Oracle OCI, Databricks, or Microsoft Azure. The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and application developers, to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet organizational needs. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud data projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing significantly to the digital transformation initiatives of our clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive background in data engineering and ETL development, with a strong emphasis on cloud-based data management. Candidates should possess 7 to 10 years of professional experience, showcasing expertise in Informatica IDMC, including Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). A robust understanding of SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and Python is essential for developing complex data transformation and automation solutions. Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Oracle OCI, Databricks, or Microsoft Azure is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently within an offshore delivery model.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines leveraging Informatica IDMC, focusing on CDI and CAI functionalities.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to support enterprise data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop and fine-tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate operational tasks, data workflows, and scheduling processes.
• Create Python-based solutions to automate data processing, workflow management, and system integrations.
• Ensure seamless data integration across cloud and on-premises environments while maintaining high standards of data quality, performance, and reliability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and application developers, to deliver innovative data solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Adhere to coding standards, documentation practices, and deployment processes within an offshore delivery framework, ensuring quality and consistency.
