Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will leverage your proficiency in AWS Big Data Services, strong programming skills, and expertise in data modeling and warehousing to build robust and scalable data solutions. This role requires a solid understanding of DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data engineering and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions.
• Utilize AWS Big Data Services (EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis) to build and optimize data pipelines.
• Apply strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL for data manipulation and processing.
• Implement effective data modeling and warehousing strategies.
• Integrate DevOps practices including CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) for automated deployment and testing of data solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data products.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security within the data ecosystem.

Skills Required:

• AWS certification.
• Proficiency in AWS Big Data Services (EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and/or SQL.
• Expertise in Data Modeling and Warehousing.
• Experience with DevOps practices - CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
