Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica, Data Warehousing, SQL, ETL, Microsoft Fabric, Python, and Power BI.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration and data engineering solutions. The role involves building reliable ETL pipelines, developing data warehouse solutions, working with Microsoft Fabric, and supporting analytics and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Informatica and other data integration technologies.
Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and data transformations.
Work with Microsoft Fabric for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics.
Develop and maintain data pipelines across multiple data sources and target systems.
Use Python for data processing, automation, validation, and engineering activities.
Work closely with Power BI developers to provide clean, reliable, and optimized datasets.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytical requirements.
Troubleshoot ETL failures, data quality issues, and pipeline performance problems.
Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Follow best practices for data engineering, data quality, documentation, coding, and data governance.
Participate in development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL
Professional-level experience with Informatica / IICS
Strong experience in Data Warehousing
Strong hands-on SQL experience
Professional-level experience with Microsoft Fabric
Intermediate-level Python programming skills

Intermediate-level Power BI knowledge
