About the Company A high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company is hiring its founding India team and has partnered with Flexiple to bring on a data engineer to build its data infrastructure. You will make sure the right data reaches the right teams, reliably and on time. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the pipelines and warehouses that turn raw data into a resource the business can trust.

Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development

• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines that move data from source systems to the warehouse
• Model data for analytics and reporting use cases
• Optimise pipeline performance and manage compute and storage costs

Data Quality & Governance

• Build validation and monitoring so pipeline failures surface immediately
• Document data lineage, schemas, and definitions for downstream users
• Partner with analytics and product teams on their data requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2 to 6 years building data pipelines or warehouse infrastructure
• Strong SQL skills plus experience with Python or Scala for pipeline development
• Experience with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect)
• Exposure to streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis) and real-time pipelines
• A degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field
