About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Scala and Spark.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Develop scalable architectures for big data processing, storage, and visualization using PySpark.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to data quality, performance, and security.
Job Requirements :
- 4-12 years of experience in Data Engineering with expertise in Scala programming language.
- Strong understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce) and Spark (Scala).
- Proficiency in working with PySpark for developing Python scripts for data processing tasks.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or GCP for deploying big data applications.
