Data Engineer

We are looking for Data Engineers with strong experience in building scalable cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing and developing real-time streaming data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data processing systems. You will work closely with data platforms, analytics, and business teams to build reliable, high-performance data solutions that power critical business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Build and optimize real-time streaming solutions using Kafka, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Apache Beam.
• Develop event-driven data architectures for high-volume data ingestion and processing.
• Implement ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Work with BigQuery for large-scale analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data processing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, and observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products and platform capabilities.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery.
• Experience building real-time streaming pipelines.
• Expertise in Kafka and/or Google Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Dataflow and Apache Beam.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and data engineering best practices.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Preferred Skills: Dataproc, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Spark, CI/CD for data pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes, and Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
