Data Engineer (1-2 Years)

Responsibilities

• - Watch Reels and YouTube videos every day level up on your fashion sense!
• - This is a hands-on, build-first role where youll write production code alongside experienced engineers - not just observe.
• - Write SQL and Spark queries to extract, transform, and validate data.
• - Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python.
• - Assist in building and maintaining reliable data pipelines end to end.
• - Learn and work with Spark/PySpark and Databricks as you grow into our Lakehouse stack.
• - Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
• - Support analytics and reporting requirements for product and business teams.
• - Monitor scheduled data pipelines and resolve basic day-to-day issues.
• - Collaborate with senior engineers through development, testing, and code reviews to absorb engineering best practices.
• - Navigate our current stack: Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake (Medallion architecture), BigQuery, Airbyte, and Power BI.

Requirements

• - If you are a content creator yourself or have worked closely in the social media space, we like you already :)
• - B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• - 1-2 years of software engineering / data experience.
• - Hands-on SQL (joins, group by, CTEs, window functions).
• - Strong programming fundamentals in Python.
• - Solid understanding of relational databases.
• - Good grounding in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• - Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• - Basic Spark or PySpark knowledge.
• - Basic understanding of data warehousing or Databricks.
• - Exposure to Git and version control.
• - Basic cloud knowledge (AWS/GCP).
• - Personal or academic projects involving SQL, Python, or data analytics.
