Job Description – Data Engineer

Department: Technology – Central Delivery (Finance Portfolio)

Reports To: Technical Consultant

About the Role We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong expertise in

Snowflake and Oracle PL/SQL to support enterprise data platform development and migration initiatives. The role involves building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using

SnapLogic , workflow orchestration via

Control-M , and developing optimized ELT solutions in Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using SnapLogic with proper error handling and monitoring.
• Design and implement ELT solutions in Snowflake with focus on performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Support Oracle to Snowflake migration, including translation of PL/SQL logic to Snowflake-native solutions.
• Build and manage job workflows using Control-M (scheduling, dependencies, SLA monitoring).
• Work on data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in

Snowflake (data modeling, ELT, performance tuning)

• Strong experience in

Oracle PL/SQL

• Experience with

SnapLogic for ETL/ELT pipeline development

• Experience with

Control-M for job orchestration and scheduling

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and SDLC best practices
• Familiarity with

CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices
