The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineering Intern to help build the backbone of our platform from the ground up. "Pristine data" is our core promise, and you will play a critical role in designing data pipelines that are fast, robust, and flawlessly accurate. Instead of maintaining legacy code, you will get your hands dirty building our foundational infrastructure, extracting and structuring massive datasets from the Indian stock market to feed our frontier AI models.

What You Will Do:

• Build & Maintain Pipelines: Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process large volumes of financial data from the NSE and BSE.
• Data Scraping & Integration: Integrate third-party financial APIs and build intelligent web scrapers to gather real-time and historical market data.
• Database Management: Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) to store, query, and optimize complex financial datasets for high-speed retrieval.
• Ensure Data Fidelity: Implement rigorous data validation and cleaning processes to maintain the uncompromising quality our platform demands.
• Collaborate on Infrastructure: Work alongside the backend architecture team to deploy and manage data workflows using AWS cloud infrastructure and modern APIs (like FastAPI and Node.js).

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong programming fundamentals, particularly in

Python and

SQL .

• Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically

PostgreSQL .

• Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• An interest in the Indian stock market, quantitative analysis, or deep-value investing.
• Prior experience with web scraping libraries (BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy) or data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience building backend services using FastAPI or Node.js.
