Role: Data Science Engineer II – Data Science Location: India

Organization: Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI (EDAA) – Data Science

Required Skills (4–8 Years Experience) Preferred Skills:

• 4–8 years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics and machine learning workloads.
• Strong programming experience in Python and SQL, with expertise in developing, optimizing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow (or similar orchestration tools), Git/GitHub, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, feature engineering, data quality, performance optimization, and distributed data processing technologies such as Spark or Databricks.
• Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with Data Scientists, Analytics, and Engineering teams to build reliable, scalable, and production-ready data solutions.
• Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) for SQL-based data transformations and analytics engineering.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and automated testing for data pipelines.
