Position: Data Discovery & PII Specialist
Experience: 4–6 Years
Location: Bhopal
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent

We are looking for an experienced Data Discovery & PII Specialist to join our DPDP Compliance Platform team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data discovery, data governance, metadata management, SQL, and privacy compliance. The role involves identifying and classifying personal data, maintaining data inventories, supporting privacy operations, and enabling organizations to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and other global privacy regulations.

• Discover and classify PII across databases, applications, cloud, and file systems.
• Maintain Data Inventories, Data Flow Maps, and RoPA.
• Support DPIA, DSAR, consent, and data retention processes.
• Perform metadata management and data cataloging.
• Work with data discovery and governance platforms.
• Support compliance initiatives related to DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR.

• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience in Data Discovery, Data Governance, Data Classification, and Data Cataloging.
• Understanding of PII, data lineage, data quality, and data lifecycle.
• Knowledge of DPDP Act 2023/GDPR.
• Exposure to tools like Microsoft Purview, Collibra, BigID, Informatica EDC, OneTrust, Alation, or Apache Atlas is preferred.
• Python/SQL automation and regulated industry experience will be an added advantage.
