Level Mid-level (3–5 years)
Role Purpose Own the data layer that powers daily decision-making across Operations, Culinary, Production and Purchase. Pull, clean, interpret and route information to the right department head so execution happens with speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain daily, weekly and monthly data pulls from Petpooja, Barometer, Keka, Zoho Books and aggregator dashboards. • Generate outlet-wise P&L snapshots, food cost variance, wastage, item-level contribution and labour productivity reports. • Maintain the R&D pipeline tracker and the founder accountability dashboards. • Translate raw data into 3–5 line decision briefs for each department head — Operations, Growth, Culinary, Procurement. • Flag anomalies proactively: stock variance, cost spikes, item velocity drops, outlet performance dips. • Build new tracking systems as the business scales from 6 to 15 outlets, including data integrity standards. • Support CFO and Founders with ad-hoc analysis for vendor negotiations, expansion modelling, investor updates and board reporting. • Maintain version-controlled data documentation — source of truth, definitions, refresh cadence and ownership.
Must Have • 3–5 years in a data / analytics role; F&B, QSR, retail or D2C strongly preferred. • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets — pivot tables, lookups, array formulas, basic Apps Script. • Working knowledge of SQL; comfort with at least one BI tool (Looker Studio, Power BI, Metabase or similar). • Strong written communication — must summarise a number into a sentence a busy operator can act on. • High ownership and zero ambiguity tolerance — chases incomplete data to closure.
Good to Have • Exposure to Petpooja, Barometer, Keka, Zoho ecosystem. • Python for data manipulation; familiarity with APIs. • Experience in a multi-outlet or cloud-kitchen environment.
Success Metrics / KPIs • 100% on-time delivery of daily, weekly and monthly dashboards. • Data integrity score across outlets > 98%. • Number of insight-led decisions tracked per quarter. • Reduction in time-to-decision for CFO, COO and Founders.
