Role Description This full-time remote Data Analyst role at NANCE Engenharia focuses on transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support engineering and business decisions. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards and reports, performing exploratory and statistical analyses, and developing data models to support forecasting and optimization. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, translating business questions into analytical approaches, and presenting findings in a clear, accessible way. The Data Analyst will also contribute to improving data processes, documentation, and best practices to enhance data quality and analytical efficiency.

What you'll do

• Build dashboards and run analyses that drive real decisions
• Own key business metrics and explain what moves them
• Turn messy data into reliable insight, models, and decisions the business acts on
• Build and maintain robust pipelines, datasets, or models in production
• Partner with stakeholders to define questions, metrics, and success criteria
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Champion data quality, reproducibility, and responsible use of data

What we're looking for

• Strong SQL plus Python (or equivalent) and solid statistical reasoning
• Experience taking analytics, data, or ML work from prototype to production
• Clear communication that connects analysis to business impact
• Care for data privacy and ethical, fair use of data and models

Nice to have

• Experience with modern data stack tooling (dbt, warehouses, orchestration)
• Background in experimentation and causal inference
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle tooling and MLOps
