Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions, optimize processes, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
• Collaborate with business, product, operations, and leadership teams to understand data requirements
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to support strategic decisions
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present insights to stakeholders
• Automate reporting workflows and improve data processes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards
• Support forecasting and business planning through data-driven recommendations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in data analysis or a related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
• Knowledge of statistics, data modeling, and data cleaning techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Basic knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics
• Experience in industries like fintech, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce, or marketing analytics
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams
