Job Profile: Data + Business Analyst + Tester Validator

The Role We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with strong analytical, data validation, and business problem solving capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, validating data quality and business logic, defining test scenarios, and ensuring data-driven solutions meet expected business outcomes. The role requires hands-on SQL expertise, experience with data models and validation methodologies, and the ability to collaborate closely with business and engineering teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant data solutions.

Responsibilities: · Understand business use cases deeply and convert them into clear data/ · validation rules. · Define and validate business logic, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios. · Analyze data quality, consistency, lineage, and edge-case behavior across · systems. · Build traceable validation frameworks for data-driven and workflow-driven · outcomes. · Partner with engineering to identify defects early and validate fixes rigorously. · Produce clear insights, reports, and recommendations for product and business · teams. · Ensure releases align with expected business outcomes and compliance

Must Have skills

• 5+ years in business analysis, data analysis, QA validation, or blended roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-structuring ability.
• Hands-on SQL skills and practical understanding of data models.
• Experience in validation/testing methodologies and requirement traceability.
• Familiarity with API-level validation and workflow testing.
• Comfortable working with technical teams using modern delivery practices.
• Strong command of data structures and algorithms logic.
• Strong hands-on experience in GenAI-enabled analysis/testing methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Oil & Gas domain experience/ awareness would be preferred
