Remote Data Analyst , you won’t just look at rows and columns—you will find the narrative hidden within our user data. You will play a crucial role in understanding what makes a story resonate, how users interact with our AI, and where we can optimize our product funnel to spread more happiness. What you'll own:
- Product Funnel & Engagement Analytics: Analyze how users interact with our AI generation tools. Track core metrics like user retention, story completion rates, and premium feature conversion.
- AI Output & Sentiment Tracking: Build frameworks and dashboards to analyze user feedback, sentiment scores, and content preferences to help our AI Engineering team fine-tune our models.
- Dashboard Architecture: Design, build, and maintain highly interactive, scannable dashboards in
Tableau or Looker Studio that the Product, Marketing, and Executive teams will actually open and rely on daily.
- SQL Pipeline Tuning: Write and optimize complex SQL queries against our data warehouse (
Snowflake/BigQuery ) to ensure clean, structured data for reporting.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and evaluate product experiments (e.g., testing new UI layouts, AI prompt variations, or subscription paywalls) and deliver definitive conclusions on what drives user happiness and retention.
- Data Democratic Governance: Act as the bridge between technical data and business strategy. Translate raw numbers into compelling data stories that non-technical team members can easily understand. What you bring:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or BI Analyst, ideally within a B2C SaaS, gaming, or content streaming environment.
- SQL Mastery: Exceptional SQL skills (window functions, CTEs, query optimization are second nature to you).
- BI Tooling: Proven experience building clean, intuitive dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Product Analytics Stack: Hands-on experience with product event-tracking tools like
Amplitude, Mixpanel, or PostHog .
- Statistical Mindset: Solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies and statistical significance.
- The "Remote" Edge: Exceptional asynchronous communication skills. You are highly self-motivated and comfortable documenting your work transparently in Slack, Notion, and Jira. Nice to haves:
- Experience with
Python or
R for deeper exploratory data analysis (Pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity with NLP (Natural Language Processing) tools or analyzing sentiment data.
- A genuine passion for storytelling, creative writing, or AI-driven technology. What we offer:
- 100% Remote Freedom: Work from anywhere with a flexible schedule.
- Competitive Salary & Equity: scaled to experience and geography + meaningful early-stage equity.
- Tech Stipend: A generous budget to set up your dream home office, including the latest hardware and high-speed internet reimbursement.
- Culture: A collaborative, high-trust environment where employee well-being is treated as a core product metric.
