Job Description: Data Analyst -AI+Python, SQL & PySpark

We are looking for experienced Data Analysts with 5-9 years of overall experience and strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, Alteryx, and Data Modeling. Candidates should have experience in the banking domain, preferably with Indian banks, and 12 years of exposure to AI/AI-related initiatives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment, analyzing complex datasets, and communicating insights effectively to business and technical stakeholders.

Key Experience & Responsibilities

• Analyze, transform, and process large datasets using Python, SQL, and PySpark to support business and analytical requirements.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, data processing scripts, and data transformation workflows.
• Use Alteryx for data preparation, blending, workflow automation, and analytical processing.
• Design and maintain data models to support reporting, analytics, and downstream data consumption.
• Apply data quality checks, validation rules, and reconciliation techniques to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Support AI-related initiatives, including data preparation, feature engineering, exploratory analysis, and integration of analytical outputs into business workflows.
• Demonstrate 12 years of AI exposure or hands-on experience through relevant projects or initiatives; extensive AI/ML expertise is not required.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Communicate analytical findings, technical solutions, risks, and project updates clearly to business and technical teams.
• Leverage cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), where applicable.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Working knowledge of Alteryx and Data Modeling.
• Banking domain experience, preferably with Indian banks.
• Basic to intermediate AI exposure, ideally gained through 1–2 years of relevant project experience.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience supporting AI/ML-related projects, data preparation, or analytical use cases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data processing and analytics platforms.
