Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

1. Business & Sales Analytics

Analyse sales funnels, conversions, channel performance, product performance, and customer behaviour. Build structured reports to support revenue growth, market-share tracking, and business decision-making.

2. Data Exploration & Insight Generation

Perform deep-dive analysis using large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Convert raw data into clear insights for business stakeholders.

3. IRDAI & Market Monitoring

Work with IRDAI-published data to analyse market share, competition movement, product trends, and industry shifts. Support regulatory reporting and business insights derived from industry datasets.

4. Dashboarding & Reporting

Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards on Power BI/Tableau to track KPIs, business performance, and forecasting trends. Automate recurring performance reports, MIS, and data refreshes.

5. Collaboration & Communication

Partner with product, sales, and business teams to frame analytical problems and present insights effectively. Communicate findings in a clear, concise, and business-friendly manner.

6. Data Quality, Governance & Documentation

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and hygiene across datasets. Maintain documentation of analytics processes, metrics definitions, and reporting frameworks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Programming: Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python/R for data analysis and transformation.
• Visualization: Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Statistics: Understanding of basic statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis.
• Data Handling: Experience working with large datasets, structured/unstructured data, and cloud-based data environments (AWS/GCP/Azure preferred).
