Job Description: MIS Executive (South Cluster)

Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented MIS Executive to manage data reporting for our South Cluster. In this role, you won't just move numbers aroundyou will build the tools and reports that help our leadership team make the right decisions. We need someone who is fast, technically skilled, and obsessed with accuracy.

Excel Mastery (The "Power User")

You don’t just "use" Excel; you command it. We need someone who can build robust, scalable workbooks that don't break when a new row is added.

• Advanced Logic: Proficient in complex formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Let/Lambda functions).
• Dynamic Reporting: Expert-level use of Pivot Tables and Power Query to transform and automate data cleanup.
• Data Structuring: An intuitive understanding of how to organize data for long-term usability.

SQL & Database Fluency

You are comfortable communicating directly with our databases to get the answers you need.

• Query Writing: Ability to write clean, efficient SQL to extract, join, and filter data from multiple tables.
• Data Integrity: Knowledge of how to validate source data to ensure your "pull" matches reality.

Data Visualization (Power BI / Tableau / Looker)

Data is only useful if people understand it. You should have a grasp of at least one major BI tool (preferably Power BI).

• Dashboard Design: Ability to turn complex datasets into intuitive, visual stories.
• Metric Definition: Experience building DAX measures or calculated fields that reflect business KPIs accurately.

AI-Augmented Productivity

We value efficiency over "doing it the hard way." You should be an early adopter of AI tools to enhance your workflow.

• Prompt Engineering: Using LLMs (like ChatGPT or Gemini) to troubleshoot code, write complex Regex, or brainstorm data models.
• Automation Mindset: Leveraging AI to speed up repetitive tasks, from drafting documentation to refactoring SQL queries.

You are your own toughest critic. You treat every stakeholder report as a reflection of your professional brand.

• Error Detection: You proactively catch "silent errors" (like duplicates or null values) before they reach the final presentation.
