Data Analyst

Job Overview 

She Starts is hiring a Data Analyst for a remote role. The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting, organising, analysing and interpreting data to support informed business decisions and operational requirements. 

The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to work with data in a structured and accurate manner. The successful candidate should be comfortable identifying patterns, preparing reports and communicating relevant findings clearly to stakeholders. 

This role is suitable for someone who can combine analytical skills with business understanding and manage data-related responsibilities independently in a remote working environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collect, organise and maintain relevant data from assigned sources.  
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and meaningful insights.  
• Prepare regular reports, summaries and data-driven updates.  
• Clean and validate data to help maintain accuracy and consistency.  
• Create spreadsheets, dashboards or other reporting formats where required.  
• Support teams by providing relevant data and analytical information.  
• Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in datasets and report them appropriately.  
• Conduct basic research and analysis to support business requirements.  
• Work with relevant team members to understand reporting and analytical needs.  
• Maintain organised documentation of datasets, reports and analytical work.  

Skills and Requirements 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Good understanding of data analysis concepts and processes.  
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, particularly Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.  
• Ability to organise, clean and interpret data accurately.  
• Familiarity with data visualisation or reporting tools may be beneficial.  
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.  
• Ability to identify patterns and communicate findings clearly.  
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.  
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage assigned responsibilities effectively.  

Experience with relevant data analysis, reporting, database or business intelligence tools may be beneficial depending on the requirements of assigned projects. 

What You Will Be Doing 

You will work with data to support reporting, analysis and decision-making requirements. Your responsibilities may involve collecting information from different sources, organising datasets, reviewing data quality, identifying trends and preparing reports that present information clearly. 

You may also support the development of spreadsheets, dashboards and reporting structures based on business requirements. The role requires a methodical approach to analysing information and the ability to communicate findings in a way that is understandable and useful to relevant stakeholders. 

As this is a remote role, you should be comfortable managing your workload independently while maintaining clear communication with team members. You will be expected to manage deadlines, maintain accuracy and follow established processes when handling data. 

The role requires both technical attention and practical thinking. You should be able to work carefully with detailed information while understanding the broader purpose behind the analysis. 

Compensation 

Salary: ₹40,000 per month
