Data Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL data pipelines and ingestion processes to ensure data availability and performance.
• Write complex SQL queries, analytical functions, views, and aggregate routines for detailed business analysis and data modeling.
• Create interactive dashboards and visual reports in Tableau to support key executive decision-making processes.
• Define and manage Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data mapping documentation, and data quality governance across enterprise repositories.
• Develop PySpark scripts to execute scalable data processing, data aggregation, and data transformations across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Perform end-to-end testing including Manual, Functional, Regression, and UAT to guarantee data integrity and pipeline stability.
• Partner with engineering and product management teams using Git, JIRA, Confluence, and Airflow within an Agile SDLC workflow.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Assumed Requirements: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake/PostgreSQL/Oracle) is assumed based on regional enterprise standards.

Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Process Improvement, and Project Management.
• Ability to work from Pune on the 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST mid-shift schedule.

Technical Expertise:

• Core Technical: Advanced SQL, PySpark, Data Modeling, ETL Ingestion, Data Pipeline Development, Data Mapping.
• Data Governance: Critical Data Elements (CDE) identification, Data Quality Management, Data Asset cataloging.
• Databases & Tools: Relational Databases (RDBMS), NoSQL Databases, Tableau, Apache Airflow, Git, JIRA, Confluence.
• Preferred Add-ons: AI/ML fundamentals, Automated & Manual Testing (UAT, Functional, Regression).
