Job Description
We are looking for Data Analysts with strong coding backgrounds.
This is a great opportunity for technically minded analysts who want to use coding, data modelling and analytical thinking to improve how Customer Operations understands performance, customer journeys and value. You will help build the data foundations, reporting and insight that allow teams to make better decisions.
Customer Operations is evolving. We are creating faster, more trusted and more connected customer journeys built around the moments that matter most. As Genesys becomes central to our operation, and AI copilot changes the way colleagues support customers, we need strong analysts who can help us understand the impact through accurate, scalable and well-built data products.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working hands on with data. You might be developing SQL, building dashboards, automating manual processes, checking data quality or helping turn raw data into something clear and useful.
You will not just produce reports. You will help improve how reporting is built, how data is structured and how stakeholders access trusted information.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reporting, dashboards and analysis.
- Write clean, reliable SQL to transform, join and investigate data.
- Support analysis of customer journeys, operational performance and value realisation.
- Help measure the impact of new tools, processes and customer experience changes.
- Carry out data quality checks and investigate issues.
- Improve existing dashboards so they are clearer, faster and easier to use.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver useful outputs.
- Support self-serve analytics by creating trusted, well documented data products.
- Build knowledge of Customer Operations, Genesys data and customer journey performance.
Ingredients to Success
- Strong coding or technical data skills, particularly SQL.
- Experience working with reporting, analytics or business data.
- Confidence working with data, spotting patterns and investigating issues.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- An interest in automation, data modelling and process improvement.
- The ability to explain technical work clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Curiosity about customer journeys and operational performance.
- A proactive mindset, with the confidence to suggest better ways of working.
- A desire to grow into a rounded analyst who can combine technical delivery with insight.
Preferences
- Our current technology stack includes Big Query, Looker, Look ML and Google Cloud Platform. Experience with these tools would be useful, but it is not essential. If you have strong coding foundations, analytical curiosity and the appetite to learn modern data tools, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduate
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as Data Analyst
- Shift Timings: 6:30 AM IST - 2:30 AM IST
- Working Days: 5 days working in the week
- WFH (Work from Home) - need assurance of a noise free quiet/separate room providing an ability to work without interference, continuity and maintaining complete data integrity. There is a need for an existing stable Wi-Fi connection from a reliable telecom vendor having a minimum speed of 75mbps and uninterrupted power supply.
- WFO (Work from Office) - we do ensure that we take adequate safety precautions and remain compliant with government prescribed rules and regulations.
