About this role
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business, operational, and reporting requirements.
- Translate requirements into data analysis, KPIs, reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
- Analyse platform, process, service, supplier, quality, and performance data.
- Identify trends, anomalies, risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyse data.
- Create reusable datasets and reporting views from available data sources.
- Support the migration of manual or legacy reports to standardized dashboards.
- Perform data validation and investigate data-quality issues.
- Maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions, report documentation, and data lineage.
- Establish reporting schedules, ownership, and change-control practices.
- Automate recurring reporting activities where practical.
- Support Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent data platforms as required.
- Work with Technology and Data Operations teams to resolve data and reporting issues.
- Prepare regular operational performance reports and management insights.
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives through root-cause and trend analysis.
- Maintain handover documentation and transition reporting solutions into BAU support.
